In the history of automobile development, the comfort of vehicles has always been a problem that people strive to solve. However, with the emergence of air suspension, the comfort problem has also been greatly improved. The air suspension system includes air spring, damper, air supply unit guide mechanism and vehicle height control system. Let's take a closer look at the functions and characteristics of each part of the air suspension.

1. According to the structure of the air bag, the air spring can be divided into capsule type, membrane type and compound type. Air bag air spring is generally used, which consists of a rubber air bag with rope and enclosed air. Air bag has single section and multi section type, the more section, the better the elasticity, but poor sealing;

2. The damper is mainly used to attenuate the vibration of the body;

3. The guide mechanism is composed of longitudinal stinger and transverse stinger, which is used to transfer longitudinal force, transverse force between the body and the axle, and torque generated when driving and braking. It makes up for the shortcoming that air spring can only bear vertical load.

4. The air supply unit includes air compressor, single valve, gas path, gas storage tank, solenoid valve, etc. Mainly used for the generation, storage and control of compressed air.

5. Body height control system is divided into mechanical control system and electronic control system. Height control sensors are mounted near the front, rear, left and right suspensions. His role is to detect the height of the car (the displacement of the car's suspension) and convert it into an electrical signal input to the control unit, the ECU. The combination of electronic technology control and air suspension system makes the performance of the air suspension system perfect.
