Maintenance procedure
The first step： after the shock absorber is removed, the dust jacket clamp should be removed first and the dust jacket should be taken out. Then the shock absorber pressure bubble water test, find the leakage point.
The second step：remove the fixing screw at Strut mount and the small clamping spring at the bottom of the piston, and separate the Body parts upper and the air suspension spring.
The third step：remove the oil seal cover above the Body parts upper, and take out the rubber sleeve at the bottom of the air suspension spring piston.
The fourth step： the use of Bocheng independent research and development of the spring press machine to take out the old top spring’ air suspension spring and buffer glue reserve.
The fifth step：the air leakage point of this Land Rover L405 air suspension spring has been found, so we need to replace a new repair suspension spring for this shock absorber
The sixth step：remove the fixed rubber sleeve of the spring reserve.

First of all, grease the new rubber ring and install the rubber ring in the repair suspension spring in the corresponding position.
After the installation, tighten the screws on strut mount
Then the installed air reduction is placed on strut mount positioning equipment independently developed by Bocheng for calibration and inflation until the piston ejection is completed.
Finally, the inflator is locked, and the air leakage detection is carried out again. After no air leakage is found, the water stain can be dried and the dust jacket can be installed. The overhaul process of the whole Land Rover L405 is completed.
